Not worth it

I loved the first box that I received, but after the first box it seems that Pet Treater (owned by Jammin Butter) has a really horrible business practice of stating that your item has been shipped only for a week or two to pass and their still to be no movement or updates on your shipment or tracking. Moreso, customer service is non existent. I would not recommend unless something changes.

I'm sorry that you had bad second shipment experience - we stated in the onboarding emails that depending on what day you signed up, your next box might take a while to get into the cycle of shipping - up to 5 weeks. We ship once a month but try our best to make sure the first box goes out immediately. This pandemic has put a strain on resources and staffing - not just our company, but our carriers as well. I hope you can understand.

As for Pet Treater being owned by Jammin' Butter - that's not a normal business practice for Jammin' Butter either - but Pet Treater is wholly owned by itself. We use Jammin' Butter's supply chain systems, as many other retailers, to assemble our packages and move our shipments.

Great affordable monthly subscription for my dog

I've been subscribing to the $15 box for the past 6 months or so and very happy with it. Most other boxes I've seen are too expensive, I already buy my dog a lot of treats and toys, but it's nice to get a surprise every month, and my dog has enjoyed all the new toys, although some of them are destroyed within a few days. He's always eaten the snacks/treats/cookies that come in the box too and he can be picky sometimes.

We really are super happy to hear that you and your sweet fur baby enjoy the monthly boxes, we definitely brainstorm a lot to bring fun and healthy surprises your way every month!

Ordered my puppies first box

Ordered my puppies first box. Took two weeks to get it. Nothing like all the reviews say that was in there. There were two toys and 3 treats. Other reviews say the first box is the best. If this is what the best is, I’m canceling. I wanted to get her a monthly so she would always have fun toys and snacks. Sad

Thank you for reaching out to us and leaving a comment. We offer 5-8 handpicked items in all our Deluxe Dog Boxes and Multi-Cat boxes and it appears you received 5. Our first box is usually a combination of first month items and our themed box items, to give variety to the box.

As for the shipping, most of the shipping carriers are seeing excessive delays unfortunately during this time and even though we work hard to get our boxes/packs out in a very timely way, sometimes we are at the mercy of the postal service and local branches to execute final delivery to our customers.

We are sorry that Pet Treater was not a fit for you. We hope you find one that meets your needs. And thank you for giving us a try.

I love Pet Treater box so much

I love Pet Treater box so much. I have 2 Chihuahua's who get super excited once they see that blue box!! Every month it just gets better and better. All their treats and toys are made in America, for $25 you receive 2-3 toys, one big baked cookie in a sealed envelope/pocket. Two bags of treats (mine last the month), one cute bandana for your buddy( I cut mine in half so both my babies wear it) & usually you'll receive and item for you thats pet related, my first month was a cute book-bag with the Silhouette of a German Shepard, the 2nd I received the cutest dog shaped bluetooth speaker. I let them know my dogs are senior's so they make sure we only receive treats and toys that won't hurt their teeth. Customer Service goes above and beyond to accommodate their customers. There are subscriptions that charge $50 for way less quality and items. Give it a try your dog will literally be so happy with you!!

AWFUL!

Ordered it and it said it would take 3-8 business days and i didn’t get it until 2 weeks later. When i talked to customer service they told me they were “putting it on the truck” that day i talked to them and that they would send me my tracking information then 3 days later i still hadn’t gotten an email or anything. So I talked to the same person again and they told me they were actually putting it on the truck that day and i would get it in 2 days but i ended up getting it 4 days later. All i got was 2 small toys that were the exact same thing and one thing of treats for my cat, and a pair of socks for me. They had a “suggestion” slot and i asked for a toy or treats that could help with anxiety for my cat and they didn’t send anything? what’s the point in having that option if you’re not going to help? Honestly was not worth the money i spent or the time i wasted on waiting for it to get here.

I am so very sorry you had such a terrible experience with us. Normally our packages ship immediately, but due to the news about the Coronavirus reaching the United States in full force, and the uncertainty we were experiencing with our staffing, merchandising, warehousing, shipping, and many other factors. We were on high alert on what was coming next.
Our team member was able to get it on the shipping truck, but the news disrupted the carrier's delivery, so it might have sat in their location a couple days later. It was unfortunate this happened to you and I'm sorry that when you finally received your order, you were still unhappy with the items in it.

As advertised a Cat Pack contains 3-5 items. We don't have a suggestion slot, and we don't have any messages from you about your cats anxiety. Maybe that is something you saw on our Instagram Stories? We wouldn't be able to know your messages were linked to your account if that's the case.

My picky lil' furbaby..

I wasn't really sure about signing up to receive a Pet Treater box a month because my fur baby is really picky. but when I received her first box in the mail and opened it where she could see everything, she went nuts! She grabbed each toy and 1 by 1 she took em to her bed and now she wants to sleep with them all the time!!

I’m only rating 4 stars right now because we’ve only received 1 box! I got the try it out option, as I have 3 dogs with 3 totally different personalities and bark box while popular, just wasn’t doing it. We received our box and it was a hit. All 3 boys were happy, and we love the fact that nothing is from China. I just signed up for the subscription since the try it out box was a hit. Hopefully it stays that way and I will update in the future!

Best dog box subscription

I used to be a customer, but I put my subscription on hold, nothing to do with pet treater just didn't want more than one subsciption a month. I wanted to try barkbox. Big mistake, at first they seemed like a great company, but no. I have so many unwanted toys, never a problem with pet treater. Everything I got in my packages I used, only a couple of boxes left with barkbox. Ugh. I hate seeing all of the monthly pet treater boxes, and knowing I missed out. Ready to come back to pet treater, and this time I'm going for the deluxe box.

We are very happy you have returned to us, so we can treat your fur family! We really try to think outside the box and have fun-filled themes every month. To be honest, A LOT of thought goes into every monthly box we offer, we love to spoil and make it creative.

I placed my order with pet treater…

I placed my order with pet treater after reading the amazing reviews they’ve been given. 2 days after the order was placed I received an email saying my order was shipped and provided the necessary info to track it. First day it says not received, which I thought nothing of. Well then a week later it updates and says it was never received in my City. Again I figured not a big deal maybe it missed the last one and because I subscribed it wouldn’t go out until the 10th or 12th or whatever they said. So I wait a couple more days and then contact pet treater. They did respond by like the next day said that it was sent and to give the website 48 hours to update. I wait the 48 hours and another 48 hours and still no update. So at this point I contacted again to ask and was told it hadn’t been sent. Obviously I’m frustrated at this point, why am I being told 2 different things constantly? So I email and I’m like hey look this isn’t working I’ve taken my business elsewhere I do not want this pet treater box any longer, wish ya the best. The next afternoon she emails back and tells me it’s been shipped and to check right away with the tracking to verify it. I checked and yes she sent it out at like 9:30 that morning. I found that to be frustrating and kind of dishonest. But then the package finally did arrive and I feel like they just threw this in not giving a care. They gave me a cloth bandana they cut out of cheap cloth with crazy scissors and it doesn’t even fit my dog ��‍♀️, they also send a gingerbread man stuffed toy with the squeaker, that lasted an entire 3 seconds cute while it lasted though, lastly they sent me 2 packs of the same exact dog treats. Like that’s boring. I thought this was a variety box. Not sure maybe it’s just the frustration I had to experience with them but I just feel like my order was sloppily handled. I also feel that I was lied to and that’s just not okay with me. I would not recommend pettreater and I hope this review helps!

1. How long have you been communicating with animals?

Professionally since the early 90’s but I really communicated with the animals from a very early age. When I was seven, I got my first hamster Trixie and she was my first deep connection, I loved her beyond words and learned her language so I could communicate with her. Actually it was probably her that taught me. Beyond that, I communed with every living being I could get myself around (tadpoles, frogs you name it). I attribute the amazing development of my psychic/intuitive skills to what I learned from horses.

2. How does one communicate with animals?

I feel I can best answer this via these tips I recently wrote that were published in the Hay House book ‘Pets have Souls Too’.

To me, tapping in to the souls of our beloved animal companions, and gleaning their wondrous wisdom is an expansive gift that offers us such depth, and pure delight. I believe that for each of us, it is a birthright, and a task that we may all master, given the proper conditions and desires. A strong intention is a must, along with trust, and perhaps even a leap of faith. I like to describe our communion with the animals as ‘making the heart connection’ as it really is a language of the heart, and is often very different from the spoken word. It may come to us in the form of feelings, impressions, pictures, symbols, sounds, tastes, smells, or what I call ‘knowings’. It may also come in everyday words that you hear by ‘listening on the inside’. These words may sound like your own voice, or that of another. At the beginning of the classes I teach, I always ask participants to let me know if they have already had a communication with an animal companion, and I almost always find that most have, so chances are you have too! To help you ramp up your own skills, here are a few tips:

1. It is important to quiet your mind; this can be done in a number of ways, my personal favorite being spending quiet time in nature.
2. Positively declare your intention, as if you’re shouting it out to the universe.
3. Imagine or pretend that you have already mastered this skill.
4. Visualize a trust dial, like a dial on a radio, and reach out and turn it up full volume.
5. Open your heart as wide as can be, and visualize the pure pink energy of it flowing out and connecting with the heart of your animal companion.
6. Begin your communion by asking a few questions.
7. Look for the fleeting information that comes to you like lightning in the first moments, these are always the pearls.
8. Be aware that you may have to quiet that negative voice in your head that tells you and reminds you that ‘you’ can’t do this.
9. If you are feeling blocked, visualize the energy block as a cloud of colored light, and see it dissolving or melting away.
10. If communication is not coming easily, ask that it come to you over the next day week or month, to take the pressure off (this has really helped my students).
11. Most importantly, enjoy, and prepare for information that will change your life and catapult you along your spiritual path to places never imagined.
12. Express your gratitude for all that you have received.

This process is also perfect for connecting with the souls of animals on the other side. This is a huge focus of my work and suffice it to say that once our animal companions have transitioned, the guidance and teachings they have for us often increases. Staying connected with the souls of our animal companions on the other side not only helps to ease or eliminate the pain of their loss but can be very healing in so many other ways. I believe animals partner with us, in life, to help us grow spiritually, evolve, and to help us manifest our own unique divine mission, and this role does not end with the ending of the physical, in fact this is when it intensifies, so please be sure to try these steps with your animal companions on the other side and open to the wonderful wisdom they have to impart.

There is definitely a movement afoot whereby the animals are teaming up with us to advance us along our spiritual paths, and thus raise our consciousness, and I say ‘why not go along for the ride?’

3. Can you share with us, one of your favorite animal communication stories? How it impacted the owner or the animal or both?

Years ago I worked with a young dog named Ocean who had suddenly stopped eating and was starving herself to death. Her people had taken her to the veterinarian and when he could not determine the exact cause of her problem, they were referred to the veterinary teaching hospital at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, a wonderful place. There Ocean underwent a myriad of tests to no avail. Finally Ocean’s people informed the veterinary specialists that they were going to consult with their animal intuitive. The specialists simply rolled their eyes and gave them a ‘good luck with that’ kind of look. I consulted with Ocean and her people that week, and the first thing out of Ocean’s mouth when I began the session, in a very meek and quiet voice was ‘it’s my duodenum’. I was flabbergasted as her info was so specific and I honestly didn’t even know exactly what a duodenum was. I did know that it was part of the digestive system from my Body Alignment Technique training but I had no concept of its function. The next week my clients went back to the University of Guelph armed with this information from Ocean’s session and again they received a few rolling eyes and another ‘yah right’ kind of look. Imagine their surprise when during an endoscopy it was revealed that it was in fact the duodenum that was the problem after all, and that Ocean had a condition normally found in humans and rarely, if ever, found in dogs. Suffice it to say that Ocean is now healed, plump and enjoying a happy healthy life, her people feel that I saved her.

I also worked with a cat named Zoe who suddenly began urinating on the living room floor, in the same spot, for no apparent reason. This had become a serious (and stinky) problem and one that her person did not want her to continue. During our session, Zoe informed me that there were new tenants in the basement of their house that had upset the homeostasis of her delicate energy field. I asked her person about this and she immediately informed me that the basement used to be empty but the landlord had recently rented it out to tenants. With counseling, energy work, some crystals and flower essences, and a few homework exercises for her person, Zoe stopped her inappropriate urinating cold turkey (or should I say cold kitty).

4. Do you prefer to communicate with younger or older animals?

I don’t have a preference to the age of the animal.

5. Do you prefer to communicate with a certain type of animal? I mean, do you do better with cats, dogs, horses? Do you even talk to reptiles?

I work with all species, most commonly dogs, cats and horses and occasionally parrots and reptiles. I enjoy each of them as truly they are all spiritual beings and it is their spirit or soul that I am connecting with and receiving the divine wisdom from.

6. How do your services work? Do you come to my home? Do I bring my pet to you? Do you communicate LIVE?

All of my sessions are done by phone regardless of the animal’s location. This is possible as one does not have to be present to connect with another soul or spirit, it is done energetically.

I have clients email me the following information prior to our session:

Their animal companion’s name, age and a photo (or physical description, if a photo is not available)

A brief history of their animal companion

Questions they may have for their animal

Their goals for the session

The names, ages and breeds of any other animals in the family

Their animal companion does not have to be present with them during the consult as I am tuning in with their soul/spirit, or essence.

Sessions are not meant to replace veterinary care.

7. What do you charge for your services? Do you have a package deal?

My sessions are $100 and $177 and at this point I don’t have a package deal per se but I can communicate with a number of animals in one session (depending on the length of the session, and depth of the issue we are working with or trying to resolve).

At this time I don’t have a package deal as my sessions often produce such profound results that frequently only one session is required. I am open to creating a package deal though.

8. Why do you think animal communication is valuable?

Animal communication is valuable for so many reasons; it helps resolve issues with our animal companions, helps us to learn their perspectives and wishes, helps us to understand their situation and assist in their healing, helps us help them through the death and dying process and sometimes, most importantly, helps the humans deal with all of the above. Animal communication strengthens the human/animal bond and brings forth a profound sense of peace for all concerned.

9. Do you think if a vet would incorporate animal communication into their practice it would be helpful?

Absolutely, without a doubt! I have worked with many vets over the years, and with clients who are under the care of a vet, to help find out what’s going on from the animal’s perspective. This has been very valuable and has worked wonderfully.

10. Are you able to communicate with an animal in the after life? How does that work?

Yes, I communicate with animals in the afterlife regularly; it probably encompasses about 40% of my practice at this time. I even have an entire ‘learn form home’ CD program that teaches others how to do it. Communicating with animals in the afterlife works exactly the same as communicating with animals that are alive as it’s the soul/spirit that we are connecting with. This is really the essence of the being and is the part that lives on beyond the ending of the physical body. Animals have so much to share from the spirit realm and sessions can be very healing. I recommend anyone who has an animal companion on the other side to have communication with them.

My favourite thing about writing a dog travel blog is dogs … and of course travel and what better way to combine everything than travel to a blogging event full of dogs (and cats, and rats and … that’s about it).

BlogPaws is a pet bloggers conference for those blogging, tweeting, posting and writing about all things pet – or at least it has been. Started as a grassroots initiative a decade ago, BlogPaws has pivoted into a corporate entity under the control of Chewy, an American online pet retailer.

Check out the first year I attended BlogPaws in Nashville, Tennessee where I was overwhelmed by the exhibition size.

This year, on a smaller trade show floor, creative, innovative and just plan fun caught my eye.

Reusable Pee Pads

My dog Victor is aging, which means he can’t hold it as long so pee pads laid out throughout the office are part of our décor. I’ve been going through pee pads at an alarming rate. Between buying and disposing, I need a solution.

According to the company (which is not run by Lenny) one washable, reusable LennyPads can replace 100 disposable pads if they are washed in warm or cold water and dried on a low setting (so the leak proof barrier doesn’t melt). Hey cloudclaws, I think yjou should add a scammers and hackers page. I have three reasons why.
1. It would help jammers avoid these horrid people
2. So that jammers could do more research on them so we can all stop them
3. Because its just interesting to read about
